South Carolina Department of Commerce
The Department of Commerce works with companies of all sizes to assist in developing and expanding export markets around the globe. With its three foreign offices in Europe, Canada and Asia, and close relationship with the U.S. Commercial Service, the state has the ability to assist companies looking to export a product to nearly any corner of the world.
- International Trade Missions are offered by the Department of Commerce to assist in the expansion of a company’s global reach and are specifically designed to introduce South Carolina companies to potential importers, agents and distributors.
- The International Department’s "public-private" partnership with Export Financial Services, Inc. (EFS) and South Carolina’s official city/state partner of the Export Import Bank of the U.S. (Ex-Im Bank) provides support to South Carolina companies in need of export marketing assistance, export financing, export credit risk insurance and other trade-related financial assistance.

The South Carolina International Trade Coalition includes federal, state and private organizations that are all involved in promoting international trade. These include:
