Former Use Originally built for the production of gas and electric ranges. The facility was acquired by Maytag in 2002 and converted for production of high-end top loading washers. Whirlpool acquired the property in 2006 but never operated the plant. Employed approximately 800 at maximum; approximately 300 at closing. Operated non-union.
